'''Blocked Chakras''' are chakras that fail to express adequate amounts of creative energy. Blocked chakras are atrophied energy centers providing insufficient energetic support. Blocked chakras lead to the long term deterioration, illness, and death of the physical unit.

Chakras are blocked either through violent suppression (e.g. spanking on the bum to close the root chakra, ridicule to close the throat chakra) or erroneous ideation leading to self-suppression. For example, dogmatic proscriptions against healthy sexuality (i.e. notions that sex is dirty) encourage self suppression of chakra energies. Notions that children should be seen and not heard encourage self-suppression of the throat chakra.
