			The 5Ds framework can also be used to assess ideologies and spiritual systems. Systems that normalize suffering, glorify sacrifice, or justify hierarchy typically function to reinforce the 5Ds, whether intentionally or unconsciously. In contrast, authentic spiritual systems support healing, empowerment, and liberation.

			Finally, this framework scales. It can be applied at the individual level, but also used to assess the condition of communities, institutions, and entire civilizations.
