Wrong thought can be “accidental” or it can be intentional. Accidental wrong thought occurs when we accidentally get the wrong idea in our head, and then accidentally stick with that wrong idea for years, even when it is clearly causing us grief, pain, and disconnection.

Accidental wrong thought happens, but more likely wrong thought enters into your head because it has been “seeded” by groups intent on reducing the transformative/revolutionary potential of connection to Consciousness. One example of this seeding is the modern Tarot deck which was created in the elite circles during the Industrial Revolution as a way to control the spirituality of both the elites and the masses.

Alignment of the physical unit with Consciousness/God is a common theme in traditional spirituality. In the Christian bible, Paul speaks of "righteousness, self control," (Acts, 27: 17) both of which are components of alignment, righteousness being a state of strong moral/behavioural alignment with Consciousness, and self control (i.e. control of the physical vehicle) a basic requirement of incarnated Consciousness.

Alignment has also been a concern, from time to time, among psychologists. In an 1960 radio interview, Abraham Maslow suggest that there were "basic, underlying, human standards that are cross-cultural" (Maslow, 1961). These standards, which according to Maslow were universal, should be used to govern the social order.

Alignment is a significant concern of knowledgeable kundalini practitioners. As GM CKS notes, "When the Kundalini is awakened, the positive and negative qualities of the person will be magnified to a very high degree. Kundalini energy is like fertilizer. Whatever seeds are in the ground will be stimulated to grow. So whatever ancient seeds a person possesses, whether good or bad, will be magnified. This is why a person going into the spiritual path experiences intense inner battles. Therefore, it is important to practice inner purification." (Sui, 2016).

The term self-actualization, originally coined by Kurt Goldstein, was picked up by Abraham Maslow. What a man can be, he must be. This need we may call self-actualization” (Maslow, 1943, pp. 382). In Humanistic and Transpersonal Psychology, connection is often (poorly) understood as transcendence.

Pathology: When needs are satisfied, an individual naturally grows, matures, and connects with consciousness. When needs thwarted [[psychopathology]] ensues.

Sociology: Ruling class ideology, capitalist individualism, holds that humans are powerful individuals capable of surviving on their own and meeting their own needs. That is a lie. In adulthood, '''most needs''' are met socially, i.e., in mature relationships with equitable exchange. E.g., Our need for [[Self Esteem]] can only be met by the kind and uplifting words of others. Our need for [[Love]] can only be filled by mature, fully functioning, adults.

Adults: In adulthood individuals who have been properly nurtured and [[Socialization|socialized]] support their own [[Development]] and work towards satisfaction of their own needs by pursuing healthy social and/or intimate relationships. Adults who have been improperly socialized or damaged by toxic childhoods, require additional guidance and assistance, and possibly healing interventions.

Children: Children are weak, undeveloped, innocent, naive, and vulnerable. Children are totally dependent on the adults in their life (i.e. parents, teachers, uncles, and aunts) to properly satisfy their needs. If the adults in a child's life are unhealthy, toxic, sick, the child experiences a [[Toxic Childhood]] where needs go unmet. Toxic childhood's can lead to disastrous consequences in adolescence and early childhood.

Connection: The satisfaction of basic and cognitive needs are the essential prerequisites for ''healthy'' connection with The [[Fabric of Consciousness]]. The individual must be healthy, well fed, safe, have a strong sense of self-efficacy (power), and have a good sense of self (be self-actualized) in order to make a healthy connection. Failure to meet specific needs, or groups of needs, ''does not'' prevent connection, but it does make it more difficult, and it does (depending on the level of need deficit) increase the likelihood that the individual will experience confusion, fear, neurosis, psychosis, or even schizophrenic breaks. Embracing The Fabric from a space of deficit will highlight problems, amplify issues, and create additional difficulties.

Guidance and Direction: In addition to a family and society geared towards satisfaction of needs, children also need positive support, encouragement, guidance and direction in order that they may learn to properly satisfy their needs as adults. By the time children are legal drinking age they should know how addictive certain substances are (i.e. alcohol, tobacco, cocaine, crack, etc.), they should understand their own needs, and they should have the basic skills so that they can satisfy these needs for themselves, either by seeking human contact, engaging in activity (to eat dinner, get love, have healthy sex, etc.). In other words parents (and society) need to specify the right way and the wrong way to do things, otherwise need satisfaction in adult hood becomes challenging for the individual. Obviously if guidance and direction is to be provided, parents and society must themselves know the right way and the wrong way to meet needs, and they must also be able to put human need satisfaction before all other things (including competition and profit).

Revelation can be likened to turning the light on in a formerly darkened room. When you turn on the light you see whatever is in the room.

Revelation is not necessarily a pleasant process, especially if revelations are occurring where conditions of great [[Darkness]] still exist. Revelation can lead, on the one hand, to invocation of [[The Beast]] and, on the other hand to [[Depression]], [[Despair]], and even [[Suicide]].

The Beast is invoked by the confluence of [[Guilt]] and [[Shame]] (two very painful emotions), and [[Fear]] of [[Judgment and Punishment]]. The experience of [[Guilt]] and [[Shame]] triggers [[Avoidance Mechanisms]] and the fear of judgment and punishment triggers [[Survival Mechanisms]]. These mechanisms, which may be triggered in the individual, group, society, or even the entire planet, preempt the control of [[Consciousness]] so that the [[Survival Programs]] of the [[Physical Unit]] may initiate attempts to avoid pain and/or survive.

Under normal conditions, acute invocation of avoidance and survival mechanisms should be considered function for the organism. Under toxic conditions avoidance and survival may become problematic. When fear and panic are invoked as the result of anxiety over [[Judgment and Punishment]] we may say that [[The Beast]] has been invoked. Notably The Beast may be invoked in the individual, the group, the society, and even the entire planet.

The only way to tame The Beast is to offer the individual, the group, the society, and even the planet unconditional forgiveness. Failure to forgive leads to increasingly desperate and violent reactions on the part of The Beast. These desperate and violent reactions cause (as the violence and desperation increases) horrific levels of pain and suffering. If The Beast is not tamed then at at a certain point (a point just before the [[Point of No Return]]) the flow of [[Consciousness]] into The Vessel must be reversed. At the point of reversal [[Consciousness]] retreats, the [[Light]] is diminished, and a [[The World]] is returned unto [[Darkness]]. The only way to prevent that return is to [[Forgive]] all [[Sins]], no exceptions.

As noted above, revelation may also lead to [[Depression]], [[Despair]], and even [[Suicide]]. This may occur when increasing awareness of [[Reality]], coupled with a powerful belief in one's [[Creative Impotence]] (a belief caused by [[The System]]), and general lack of a healthy [[Support Network]], leads to [[Depression]], [[Hopelessness]], and even [[Suicide]]. It is important for people contemplating suicide to consider that they are neither impotent and powerless (they are in fact beings of great [[Consciousness]] and great power), nor is presence on this Earth either random or unnoticeable. Like all other [[Incarnated Monads]] on this planet, they have an origin in [[God]], and a mission (a [[Purpose]]) to perform.

Hi Michael, I think this part needs more explanation regarding physical disabilities. Are you saying all birth defects are accidental trauma? What about genetic abnormalities? And you say, ideally one wants a fully functioning PU....I don't think that is always true. I imagine that some souls want an experience of life that is different from ideal and may accept a disability like physical blindness, hearing impairment, cerebral palsy etc. When these kinds of impairments occur, the body's systems are remarkably resilient and compensations and substitutions occur, there is much experience to be gained when living a life with physical impairments. I really feel that experience, and God's desire for experience trumps any " ideal" we have.

In Old World Spirituality we often hear reference to something called the "higher self" of an individual. Although a lot has been written on it, it's not a difficult concept to understand. The "higher self" is merely that part of your full consciousness (i.e., your monadic spark), which has not, for whatever reason, been made into the body/mind unit.

As explained in the book ''The Great Awakening'', under normal conditions only about 10% of your consciousness enters into your body. Therefore, under "normal conditions" your higher self represents as much as 90% of the full awareness and potential of your monadic spark.

As explained in the book, '''The Great Awakening,'' this can be changed via simple intent. That is, you can undertake to increase the "percentage of consciousness" that resides in your body. When you do this, when you increase your [[Consciousness Quotient]] from say 10% to 15%, you are "filling up" your body (i.e., [[The Temple]]) with your consciousness. It's a very straightforward and easy to understand process.

This process of "filling up" the container is represented in Old World Spirituality as enlightenment, salvation, the attainment of nirvana, etc. In New World Spirituality we conceive of this as [[awakening]].

'''The Great Work''' (also [[The Work]], [[The Plan]], [[The Divine Plan]]) is the ''spiritual work'' of improving our experience of creation (Sharp, 2015). There are many aspects to The Great Work. The Great Work is the ''evolutionary work'' of creating a [[Physical Unit]] capable of containing high levels of [[Consciousness]], and the spiritual work of raising the vibration of [[Physical Creation]] to allow for the full descent of consciousness into physicality.

It is important to note that, contrary to what is typically taught, the Great Work is not an operation that we conduct on our "souls". The Great Work is not an "alchemical" work of soul purification nor is it an evolutionary march to individual advancement. That is a corruption. Our souls, our monadic sparks, are already perfect and require no moral, evolutionary, or spiritual development whatsoever. The physical universe (and your [[Physical Unit|physical unit]]) are, however, another matter altogether. In order for dense physical matter to accommodate a "full measure" of Spirit, modifications have to be made and, in the case of the human Physical Unit, healing has to occur.

The Great Work can be considered a spiritual operation designed to modify physical matter. It is a collective process the outlines of which are summarized poetically in The Song of Creation.

Note, there are no "chosen" ones, no special places, and no spots where some are elevated above others. Everybody works together and, when the work is completed, everyone shares equally in the benefits.
