Human beings struggle to integrate two egos, a [[Spiritual Ego]] which is a "real" ego that emerges as the result of an [[Intensification of Consciousness]], and a [[Bodily Ego]], which emerges from the body's CNS.

The primary task of human [[development]] is the development of a healthy and strong [[Bodily Ego]] that is capable of "handling" a full measure of spiritual ego.

To achieve a healthy ego, ensure that all [[Seven Essential Needs]] are being met, from birth to death.

[[Toxic Socialization]] undermines the bodily ego and makes it incapable of containing a full measure of spiritual ego.

Most conceptualizations of ego do not distinguish properly between [[Bodily Ego]] and [[Spiritual Ego]]. For example, [[Edward Carpenter]] struggles to understand the emergence of ego, while amorphously flopping back and forth between a confused understanding of Spiritual Ego and Bodily Ego. Carpenter does correctly note however that the experience of perspective, conceived of as the experience of "separation," is a motivating force behind the instantiation of ego. Ego did not always exist. However, at the point of the intensification, when god is born in The Fabric, so too is the first ego (i.e. I + eye + will) brought into existence.

Displacement is another tertiary ARM that distorts reality. Displacement is similar to projection in that we are shifting attention from our thoughts, behaviours, and actions, but in this case, we are shifting our negative emotions and behaviours from a risky target to a less risky one. For example, I had an issue with women for a long time because of the abuse my mother heaped upon me. I could never challenge my mother as a child or adolescent because if I did, the abuse became much worse. As a child, I learned that if I got angry with my mother, it was best if I just kept it to myself. My mother shut my anger at her abuse down, but it did not go away. For many years I displaced it towards other women who were “safer” targets. I did this until I finally became aware of what I was doing, being angry at all women because I couldn’t be angry with mom. Finally realizing my anger, and also realizing its roots, allowed me to instantly release that anger and transform my irrational fear. I say irrational because as an adult, I knew my mother couldn’t harm me anymore. Unfortunately, I was still operating with my childhood fear. When I realized, I released anger and fear and was able to move forward in a more authentic space.

Gaslighting is a sophisticated tertiary ARM. It is a form of distortion whereby an individual, in an effort to suppress challenge and awareness, engages in a direct assault on the thoughts and ideas of a “target” individual or group in order to change that individual’s thinking and undermine their confidence in self and their understanding of reality. I am a loving and thoughtful spouse.”
We could spend a lot of time on gaslight because there is really no end to the creative ways a gaslighter can come up with to undermine the self-confidence of the individual. And that is the goal. When an individual victim of abuse can be made to doubt their own two eyes, when they are taught to doubt the reality of their situation, they are less likely to say anything, and more likely to repress their own understanding and adopt of delusional view. When an individual is gaslighted, the perpetrator is trying to make the individual question their memory, perception, and judgment of the situation. This works for the gaslighter because they no longer have to admit to something they may not want to admit to.

Disjuncture is a Lightning Path concept that refers to the disconnect between your [[Spiritual Ego]] and your [[Bodily Ego]]. If you think of your spiritual ego as a bright, eternal light, and your bodily ego as the ego of your physical body, disjuncture occurs when the two are “out of [[alignment]]” and, as a consequence, [[Disconnected]]. Many forms of disjuncture may impact the physical unit. When a potter sits down at a wheel to spin a vase, his desire to spin a vase, coupled with the will to get it done, is instrumental in the [[formation|force]] used to [[formation|form]] the new creation.

How long it takes to translate intent into creation depends entirely on the persistence and strength of will (i.e. the harder you will it, the faster it will happen), the nature and complexity of our creative intent, our general creative expertise, and the energetic level at which you are creating at. At lower (i.e. denser) levels of physical [[Creation]] where Creation vibrates slower, intent requires additional time and effort. Obviously, more complex creative outcomes require longer periods of intense creative intent and more time (and perhaps assistance) to properly unfold.

In order for healing to proceed, a healer ''must'' recognize that they have been colonized by [[The System]] and have absorbed System values, System ideology, and the System's way of doing things. Even if their heart is in the right place, even if their desire is to develop an authentic healing practice, their absorption into the System makes it difficult for them to proceed in an authentic fashion. Therefore, a healer (psychologist, psychiatrist, medical doctor, etc.) that wishes to develop an authentic healing practice must recognize that they will need help identifying their problematic behaviours and procedures. They will need help learning to be reflexive, empathic, sensitive, and aware. They will need help identifying and removing the deep tendrils of System ideology. They will need help putting aside the stark narcissism trained into them by the System so that they can function with the client's needs in mind.
