There are two uses of the term Connection Pathology. On the one hand, a connection pathology is the study of emotional, psychological, sociological, and physical causes of mental and emotional illness triggered and exacerbated by an experience of Connection. On the other hand, a connection pathology is a psychological/emotional breakdown of the bodily ego caused by a Zenith Experience or a Nadir Experience of an intensity, duration, quality, or content that an individual is not prepared, or not capable (because of damage) of handling.

Types of Connection Pathology

Communication Error, Connection Psychosis, Constricted Connection, Ego Inflation, Egoic Collapse, Egoic Explosion, Flooding, Gurutitus, Majdhub, Spiritual Emergency

Related Terms

Connection Pathology > Bodily Ego, MEPF

Syncretic Terms

Connection Pathology > Nadir Experience

Notes

Both Zenith experiences and nadir experiences can lead to connection pathology.[1]

Wrong Thought, Wrong Action, and Wrong Environment all increase the probability of connection pathology.

Right Thought, Right Action, and Right Environment increase the odds of healthy Connection Outcome.
